In the last few weeks I have been lucky enough to begin teaching with iPads. They are such a game-changer. In terms of collaboration, independence and engagement they have allowed my pupils a whole new range of possibilities to extend their working practices. As I start exploring the potential of iPads within the curriculum, so I notice that many of the web 2.0 apps that I’ve reviewed here have ensured that their content and functionality is available to iPad users. So that gives an extra level of possibilities — not only trawling the App Store for goodies, but also investigating online apps too! Marvelous.
